What does "Salvation's Song" mean to you?

The Cross and Salvation
The cross on a hill (picture on the right) is representative of what took place around 2,000 years ago on Mount Golgotha. This is where Jesus died for the sins of all.
I came across this video below, called Salvation's Song, by Stuart Townsend. It is very important to me because of what the song lyrics personally mean to me. I have experienced this redemption made possible by the sacrifice that Jesus made. Does this song have any meaning to you?
Salvation's Song by Stuart Townsend
Salvation's Song Lyrics
Loved before the dawn of time,
Chosen by my Maker,
Hidden in my Savior:
I am His and He is mine,
Cherished for eternity.When I’m stained with guilt and sin,
He is there to lift me,
Heal me and forgive me;
Gives me strength to stand again,
Stronger than I was before.So with every breath that I am given
I will sing salvation’s song;
And I’ll join the chorus of creation
Giving praise to Christ alone.All the claims of Satan’s curse
Lifted through His offering,
Satisfied through suffering;
All the blessings He deserves
Poured on my unworthy soul.So with every breath that I am given
I will sing salvation’s song;
And I’ll join the chorus of creation
Giving praise to Christ alone.Singing glory, honor, wisdom, power
To the Lamb upon; the throne.
Hallelujah, I will lift Him high.
Singing glory, honor, wisdom, power
To the Lamb upon the throne.
Hallelujah I will sing with every breath that I am given
I will sing salvation’s song;
And I’ll join the chorus of creation
Giving praise to Christ alone.Stars will fade and mountains fall;
Christ will shine forever,
Love’s unfading splendor.
Earth and heaven will bow in awe,
Joining in salvation’s song.

Lyrics to: Linkin Park - The Catalyst
God bless us everyone
We're a broken people living under loaded gun
And it can't be outfoght
It can't be outdone
It can't out matched
It can't be outrun
No
God bless us everyone
We're a broken people living under loaded gun
And it can't be outfoght
It can't be outdone
It can't out matched
It can't be outrun
No
And when I close my eyes tonight
To symphonies of blinding light
(God bless us everyone
We're a broken people living under loaded gun
Oh)
Like memories in cold decay
Transmissions echoing away
Far from the world of you and I
Where oceans bleed into the sky
God save us everyone,
Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns?
For the sins of our hand
The sins of our tongue
The sins of our father
The sins of our young
No
God save us everyone,
Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns?
For the sins of our hand

Truthfully? it's a catchy tune of the kind I've heard in churches with big screen projection televisions and a 4 piece rock band instead of a choir. I guess I'd call them progressive churches. I'm not knocking them that is my perception of the song and where it comes from, "possibly" as I surely don't know.
I have attended those churches and for the most part I enjoyed skipping the music service.
The words "Giving praise to Christ alone." is far from my beliefs, I give praise to the Father our creator in the name of Jesus Christ, as a focal purpose, while I give praise to Christ for carrying the word of the Father, from where Christs teachings came, "for the word was God and with God" if my memory serves correct.
In Jesus completing the task for which he was sent is definitely worthy of much praise as it gave us the "Faith" over law that as a mortal man I could never have lived up to, I now have a way unto the Father.
I praise the work that I see some mortal men do, that I have been unable to do, and I believe that in recognizing the work as righteous fruit, giving it praise is not wrong.
Just as praising your intentions here, were pure in delivering a message and testifying that you are on the life long journey of learning as I think it never ends.
Peace,
